Meet Turgut Alkım Tutumlu, a highly accomplished vehicle designer and 3D surface modeler with a passion for creating innovative and captivating automotive designs. With a diverse educational background and extensive industry experience, Tutumlu has established a remarkable career in the field of automotive design.
Tutumlu's journey began at the renowned Anatolian Fine Art High School in İzmir, where his artistic talents flourished. Recognizing his potential, he pursued his passion further by graduating in Industrial Design from İstanbul. Eager to broaden his horizons and enhance his skills, Tutumlu embarked on an enriching adventure to the United Kingdom, specifically Manchester, for English Language Education.
His thirst for knowledge led him to Italy, where he enrolled at Politecnico di Milano for his Mastership in car design. Imbued with the rich heritage of Italian automotive design, he honed his craft and gained invaluable insights into the industry.
Fueling their ambition, he joined OKT Trailer as a vehicle designer and 3D surface modeler, making significant contributions to the company's projects. This experience served as a stepping stone, propelling him to the esteemed Ford-Otosan R&D center, where he assumed the role of car designer and 3D surface modeler. During his tenure at Ford-Otosan, Tutumlu showcased exceptional talent and creativity, earning recognition for his exemplary work.
Driven by an entrepreneurial spirit and a desire for greater creative freedom, Tutumlu made the courageous decision to leave Ford-Otosan. Equipped with a portfolio brimming with successful vehicle design projects from external clients, he took a bold leap and founded his own Design and Engineering Company, known as TDE. As the visionary behind TDE, he has assembled a team of talented professionals and embarked on a multitude of exciting vehicle design projects.
With a steadfast commitment to excellence, he continues to push the boundaries of automotive design, consistently delivering stunning and innovative solutions. His relentless pursuit of perfection and unwavering dedication to his craft have earned him a reputation as a visionary in the field.
